TurfChale ("we", "our", "us") operates the TurfChale platform accessible at turfchale.com and via the TurfChale Progressive Web App. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our services.

• Account information: name, email address, mobile number, and profile photo when you register.
• Booking information: turf selections, slot times, sport preferences, and payment details processed via Razorpay.
• Turf owner information: business name, venue address, bank account details for payouts, and turf photos.
• Communications: messages sent through our support channels.

We also collect information automatically:

• Device type, browser, operating system, and IP address.
• Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform.
• Location data (only with your permission) to show turfs near you.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To process bookings and payments.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts via SMS or email.
• To connect players with turf owners and facilitate the booking process.
• To improve our platform, detect fraud, and ensure security.
• To send product updates and promotional communications (you can opt out at any time).

3. Payment Data

All payments are processed by Razorpay. TurfChale does not store your card numbers, CVV, or UPI credentials. Razorpay's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data. Razorpay is PCI DSS compliant and regulated by the Reserve Bank of India.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

• With turf owners: your name and booking details are shared with the turf you book.
• With service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Razorpay (payments), and communication providers.
• For legal compliance: if required by Indian law, court order, or to protect TurfChale's legal rights.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Booking records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance under Indian law. You may request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to these retention requirements.

6. Your Rights

Under Indian law and our platform commitments, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Withdraw consent for promotional communications.
• Raise a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

TurfChale is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
