These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TurfChale's platform, website at turfchale.com, and Progressive Web App (collectively, the "Service"). By using TurfChale you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About TurfChale
TurfChale is a two-sided marketplace that connects players looking to book sports turfs with turf owners who list their venues. TurfChale facilitates the discovery, booking, and payment process but does not own or operate any turf venue listed on the platform.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make bookings.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- One person may not create multiple accounts.
- Turf owners must be the legal owner or authorised operator of the venue they list.
3. Player Responsibilities
- Players are responsible for arriving on time for booked slots.
- Players must comply with all rules set by the turf owner.
- Players are liable for any damage caused to the venue during their booking period.
- Bookings are personal and non-transferable without written consent from the turf owner.
4. Turf Owner Responsibilities
- Turf owners must maintain accurate listing information including pricing, availability, and amenities.
- Turf owners must honour confirmed bookings. Repeated cancellations by owners may result in account suspension.
- Turf owners are solely responsible for the condition and safety of their venue.
- Turf owners must not collect any fees from players outside of the TurfChale platform for booked slots.
- Turf owners must comply with all applicable local laws, licences, and safety regulations.
5. Bookings and Payments
- All bookings are confirmed only upon successful payment via Razorpay.
- Slot availability is shown in real time but cannot be guaranteed until payment is complete.
- TurfChale is free for players. Players pay only the turf owner's published rate.
- Turf owners are charged a platform fee as described in the pricing plan applicable to their account.
- Payouts to turf owners are processed within 3–5 business days after a booking is completed.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details on cancellations and refunds. In summary:
- Players may cancel up to 2 hours before the slot start time.
- Refund eligibility depends on the individual turf owner's cancellation policy, which is displayed before booking confirmation.
- TurfChale does not charge a cancellation fee.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or reviews.
- Attempt to circumvent TurfChale's payment system by arranging off-platform payments.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on TurfChale — including the logo, design, text, and software — is owned by TurfChale and protected under Indian copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
TurfChale is a marketplace platform. We are not responsible for:
- The quality, safety, or availability of any turf listed on the platform.
- Any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of a booked venue.
- Disputes between players and turf owners.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TurfChale's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific booking in dispute.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes through TurfChale's customer support. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
11. Modifications
TurfChale reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
